Chronotorious!!

I was going to wait until after Comic Con to post this, but pre-orders for Chronotorious started yesterday. There will only be a run of 1000, and I guess over 150 orders have been taken already, so here is an early heads up. What is it?

Here is the info from www.baddudesmusic.com
"15 Delicous Chrono Trigger tracks have been arranged for you. But only if you buy the cd album. When the cd is goin, it's gone forever, along with 5 of the tracks. There will be an iTunes/AmazonMP3 release, but it will only feature 10 tracks, won't include the poster and you'll find yourself scouring ebay for a legit copy. Don't be a jerk-get the CD before all 1,000 are gone."

So if you don't get the CD, I won't think you're a jerk. BUT, there is artwork inside the cd case, which I made. I won't post the finished marker illustration, 'cause that would be kinda jerky for the people who do decide to shell out money for it, but I will post the rough drawing so people can know what to expect. Also, I did an illustration for the back of the poster, that Steph Laberis made with her masterful computer skills. Maximo Lorenzo also did some really awesome artwork for the CD face! Oh yeah, and the hard copy CD is $10!
Thanks to Mustin for letting me be a part of this project. If you don't know what Chrono Trigger is, google it!

Gato is for the back of the poster. This illustration is grey, flipped, and small on the back of the poster, but here is the full color for 15 silver points! Hey, I think Gato is my favorite character from the game!

I have more unused Chrono Trigger art, but that will be posted another time. The next week is going to be insane for me. Sorry! Apologies to Toriyama also, Chrono Trigger introduced me to his art, NOT Dragon Ball Z 9000000000.

WORTH EVERY SILVER POINT! Hey, are you a girl too? They can't draw game art >:(

Ha, Picco...I mean Magus is TOO cool to dance.

I tried to pre-order with Silver Points, but paypal won't acknowledge it as currency. Darn!

So I had to use dollars instead. The remixes are great, but to be honest, the promise of arty goodness is what sold me. Keep it up! :)

Aw man, no spending monies and I wants it. Thanks for sharing the sketches, at least. I'm finally getting my hubby to play this game, and he is happily surprised.

WWwwwoooowwww!!!!!!!!! I love your CT-drawings and I love the game!!!=)

I recently start to play it too and now I'm hooked!:3 It's probably the best game I ever played, I wish more games would be like CT but unfortunately 90% are just there to get money.:/
I would love to have the music too but right now I'm broke!:(

I like your CT-drawings, you got the characters personalities very well! And I like how you do the colors, especially when you work traditionally, you always come up with something beautiful and clever!:)
I want to see more CT-art from you!!!=)
Maybe I post some of the CT-drawings I recently did!XD

Do you give your characters nicknames in the game?

Super kudo's in being included in such an awesome sounding project, and I think you're a perfect match!
I don't know how many times I fought that darn gato for silver points or whatever. I only wish you could skip his song sometimes so things could speed up a bit.

thanks to Toriyama, I STILL have to double-check my action drawings to avoid drawing faces like Goku's. I watched more of that show than I probably should've...

Hey, if you have to apologize to Toriyama for not discovering Dragon Ball first, then don't even mention Dragon Quest! :)

Well, your art is totally unapologetic and unabashed, and we can all be thankful for that!

Great, great illustrations!

It's funny how Ayla and Glenn were almost a pairing really. There was something very love/hate between 'em, Glenn being this green frog that either looked like one of Ayla's enemies or something she wanted to eat, and Ayla being so dense and ill-mannered that Glenn could hardly stand her. Yet, they both had such respect for each other on the battlefield, and for their sense of duty, that you could tell they had kind of a...mutual perspective...of the world around them.

Anyway, so glad that you had them dancing together!

Steph- I wish silver points were real. Girls can draw game art. People don't have to like it, but I don't think it should stop you from drawing what you like. Haterz are usually in the minority anyway. They just cry the loudest.

Michael- Magus is indeed to cool for school. Or grumpy, or something.

Clay-Thank you! Now you know the secret Chrono project!

Bluuseas and Nerd Goddess-Thank you too! Monies are not needed for happiness. You two will always have silver points though.

Alexei- Yay! CT! I'm assuming you probably have some of your own fanart lying around somewhere. :)

Ryan- Yay for cintiqs! And raccoons!

Kali- OOOOOOMMMMMGGGG!!!

Arschblog- CT is very fun! I think one of the things that makes it such a strong game is that you have a core seven characters for the entire game. Their personalities play really well off each other.
It keeps the player involved to see all the scenarios and unlock more of the story, and actually care about what will happen to them at the end of the game. I think that's why I can't get into MMORPG's as much, they are just too massive, and hard for me to care about personally.
You should post your drawings, I want to see!
Whenever I play, I tend to just keep them with their default name. On Mana and FFVI, I gave them stupid names though. Poop is always good for a name.

Meesimo-I missed your bday party! After the wedding of the VAL and the ROG, we will have to relax with a good Beard Papa. That sounded disgusting.

Jake- I personally loved Gato's song! I would fight him just to hear it. Fighting him is annoying though, especially when that giant red punching glove comes out of his belly. :(

Brian S- I think the secret with Toriyama, is that he's the only one who can really draw like that. I think he can be a good influence though, the "One Piece" manga has some amazing art!

Régis- Hello! Sadly, I have never played any Dragon Quest games. Still, I am a fan of that evil smiling blue slime!

Brian- Yay! My pairings were intentional, I tried remembering which characters had the most memorable moments together. For illustrations, it always seems more interesting if characters seem like they are actually living a moment. Lucca and Robo's friendship was always so sweet, while Marle is this hyper girl who just pushes Crono into more trouble than he could possibly get himself into.
Poor Magus though, he loses his sister, and all he can do is sulk in a corner.

Your great drawings make me want to play the game!

WOW I would LOVE to see the forest scene finished! That's one of the coolest parts of the game, maybe because it's so different.

The Chrono Trigger fanart is awesome. I'm playing through the DS port right now. I was just wondering, I notice a lot of your work in in colored pencil,(unless I'm stupid and just wrong) what brand(s) do you use and recommend? Thanks.
